I need to share this

This post from the Anglican Scotist came through on my Google Reader, but it no longer seems to be at the blog site; perhaps the writer deleted it. I hope no deity will strike me down for re-posting it in its entirety. I have not recreated the links, for I am lazy and need to haste off to the shower.

How strange and sad

From Blog of a Birdchick comes a story about conjoined twin barn swallows. Ever seen double-yolk eggs? A fertilized one would produce twin chicks. These poor beebs didn’t make it, but the Smithsonian will study their bodies. (There’s a picture of them still alive, but it’s not gross.)
